Registration

Thank you for your interest in the ACRL 14th National Conference. Registration will open in September 2008. All registration fees listed below are estimated. Official rates will be posted in July 2008.

Registration deadlines
Early Bird: January 16, 2009
Advance: February 6, 2009

Registration fee includes:

• Access to your choice of over 100 educational programs including keynote sessions, panels, contributed papers, workshops, roundtables and more than 150 posters
• Entry to the exhibit floor with over 225 vendors to meet your needs
• Cyber Zed Shed presentations demonstrating use of new technologies in innovative ways
• Access to the virtual conference community with speaker slides, handouts, Webcasts, discussion boards, audio blogs, and more
• Daily refreshment breaks to keep you moving
• Opening exhibits reception showcasing the latest in library products and services
• All-Conference Reception at the Experience Music Project / Science Fiction Museum (included with registration fee but ticket is required)

Note:  Members of the Washington Library Association may register at the ACRL member rate. Simply fill out the paper registration form and write "(WLA)" next to your last name.

Daily registration will be available onsite: $225 for ACRL members, $275 for ALA members, $325 for nonmembers, $75 for library school students, and $115 for retired.  Complimentary exhibits-only badges will be available on Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14.  Stop by the registration desk at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center to complete an exhibits-only registration form.

Group discounted rates
ACRL is pleased to offer group discounts to institutions that register 10 or more employees for the conference.

• To qualify, all registrants in the group must be employed at the same institution and on the same campus. 
• Group discounts are available only by mail and are not available to those registering online or onsite.
• Completed registration forms must be submitted at the same time in one envelope. 
• Registrations mailed separately and/or arriving later in a separate envelope will not count towards the 10-person minimum nor will they be eligible for the group discount. 
• Standard cancellation fees apply to all group discount registrations.

Payment and cancellation policies
Payment for the full amount of the registration fee must be made before you can obtain your name badge and conference materials.  Cancellations received on or before February 6, 2009, are entitled to a refund minus a $100 processing fee. Cancellations received after February 6, 2009, will not receive a refund. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. 

Due to limited space in the preconference sessions we cannot ensure your space until we have received payment. Preconference registration cancellations received by February 6, 2009, will receive a refund minus $50.

Onsite registration hours
ACRL registration will available at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center (South Lobby) during the following hours. You will need to present a photo I.D. in order to obtain your name badge.
