This section of the web site provides numerous resources for professionals who are currently active in Information Literacy as well as those who would like to start a program or simply learn more about how our colleagues bring the standards of Information Literacy into their own institutions.

Institute for Information Literacy
Home of the Institute, with information on it's annual immersion program; best practice strategies for developing information literacy programs; and the Institute's Community Partnerships program for academic, school, and public libraries.

Instruction Section
The Instruction Section of the ACRL enhances the ability of academic and research librarians to advance learning, teaching and research with respect to information literacy in higher education. The Instruction Section maintains and develops this site.

Consultants for Subject-Specific Information Literacy Standards
ACRL and the Institute for Information Literacy Executive Committee are seeking ACRL member volunteers with a strong foundation in information literacy concepts and standards to serve as Information Literacy Consultants to ACRL units that are developing subject-specific information literacy standards.
