Friday, June 15, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. Hilton & Towers, Continental BR 4 A series of expert speakers covering digital rights management, e-book standards, and library experience to date will address how electronic books and e-book devices contribute to the library's mission and what challenges and benefits both library and reader experience. The day will culminate with practical library implementation guidelines and responses from e-book vendors including hands-on opportunity. |

The Distributed Digital Library: Putting the Pieces Together Monday, June 18, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., reception immediately following 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. Palace Hotel, Grand Ballroom A panel of distinguished speakers from the digital library field will discuss the issues that a distributed model involves including discovery of collections, linking between resources, and authentication among others. Join LITA President Randall for a reception immediately following the program in the Ralston Room of the Palace Hotel.
