Course Description:
Google Wave is poised to change the way we think about communication on the web, and to give libraries and librarians amazing new tools to help our patrons. While it is in very, very early beta right now, the promise for this new service is very high. Let Jason Griffey walk you through the possibilities, show you how Wave works, and help you wrap your head around what Wave might bring to your library.
Learning Outcomes: Participants in this webcast will come away with an understanding of the basic functionality of Google Wave. As well, they should be able to envision multiple communicative uses for Wave within their library, including both internal and external communications.
